Command an Army Tips and Tricks: 8 Rules for Your First Wins
Command an Army matches are won by the player who manages troops better, not the one who spawns the most. These eight tips come from day-one gameplay and cover movement, healing, orders and the mistakes that lose base-capture fights.
The Eight Rules
- Heal is personal: pressing H heals only you, not your troops - use it between fights, not mid-battle.
- Hold position is your default: an anchored line beats a wandering one in almost every early match.
- Flank with the scout rider instead of front-loading speed - the front line's job is to stand still and absorb.
- Attack in waves: push with Attack, then reset to Hold before your line overextends into their archers.
- Rush them is a finisher: save it for when the enemy army is already breaking, or you feed them kills.
- Pick Assassin if you like to roam, Hammer if you hold points - movement speed is the real difference.
- Spend stars on a balanced loadout, not your favorite unit (see the units guide).
- Watch the base, not the kills: capturing the enemy base wins the match - a kill lead means nothing if their riders are already at your base.
Character and Class Notes
Character creation is simple - male or female - and the real choice is the class. Hammer trades movement speed for staying power, which suits players who anchor a point. Assassin moves fast, which suits flank hunting and base races.
The spin/gacha mechanic exists for cosmetics (100 Robux skips the animation) - it does not affect combat, so do not spend early Robux expecting power.
What Changes as the Game Updates
The game launched on September 5, 2026 and is changing fast. Unit lists, star caps and modes may all move within weeks - this page and the units guide are updated as new day-one facts get confirmed, and the codes tracker will trigger the moment real codes drop.
